"When I was your age, I couldn't swim at all. So don't worry about it. You'll be able to swim soon. Just attend swimming lessons at school, listen to your teachers closely, and try to do what your teacher says. First of all, don't be afraid of water. You can't drown in that narrow pool. Every 'animal' is supposed to float."
A several days later, the swimming lessons finally started at school. On that day, he came home and said loudly, "Do you think I'm so depressed? Noooooo! Swimming at school was really fun. I have a great time with my friends in the pool. I'm a little bit scared, but probably I'm OK. I think I can handle this."
Oh, this is exactly, "Fear is often worse than the danger itself" (案ずるより産むが易し).
And remember, there's another proverb useful to you, honey. "We tend to be good at those things we like" (好きこそものの上手なれ). You're gonna be a good swimmer. Just keep trying!
In my case, I really love studying English. If the proverb is right, am I gonna be a good writer in the near future? I hope so.
I'm participating in ranking.
I'd really appreciate it if you could vote for this blog, which cheers me up so much!
